許韻瑜以繪畫為主要媒介，創作靈感多源於生活中的多愁善感, 從宏觀的空間視角到細膩的靜物描繪，呈現精神世界的多重面向。她受日常及特定事情啟發，與種種歷史及想像片段進行融合後，透過繪製作品來建造隔絕外界、似夢迷離的私人空間, 藉此作為一個抒懷情感的記錄，思考個人與集體情感的關係。 Cami Hui’s practice focuses on paintings, while most of her works stem from the sentimentality in daily life. Her works reveal different parts of her soul by depicting both close-up and wide shots of a mysteriously arranged spatial compartment. She constructs an isolated, surreal and personal domain, whilst imageries taken from quotidian encounters, special events, history and imagination act as their pillars. Hui views this as a form of emotional expression and documentation, which also enables her to explore the relationship between individuals and collective emotion.
