Angela Li from Art Central’s five-person board explains how they select galleries to exhibit in the art fair.
Li Hongbo shares his source of artistic inspiration for his remarkable paper sculptures. As the most commonly found material in everyday life, Li transforms paper into marble and scholar’s rocks which can be stretched and manipulated. The symbolism within these expendable paper sculptures is deep with traditional Chinese meaning and Li’s personal understanding of life.
